Fashion Voucher £50 Boohoo challenge!

I recently saw a few blog posts dedicated too this and since I like BooHoo's clothes, I decided too give this a try!

Over at Fashion Vouchers, they have this fabulous competition going on where you could win a £50 BooHoo voucher! (Yes, this is the day of competitions haha!) All you have too do is create an outfit, using BooHoos clothes, for £50! Not one too turn her nose up at a good competition, I decided too open up BooHoo and see what kind of outfit I could piece together, mainly from the clearance!

With Autumn approaching, I decided too go for a look that was slightly more covered up! My thoughts went along the line of comfy, with splashes of colour and a nice pair of boots. I love boots!

I wanted too do a short dress and leggings look, because sometimes they can look really good. Although I am going off plain black leggings a little, I do like patterned leggings, but have never really tried them (yet). I went with a simple and pretty dress (£15) with these colourful and pretty flowery leggings (£6). I wanted too add a contrasting print scarf, and found this nice one for £3. Scarves are vital in Autumn! I am sucker for cinching in the waist line, so I found this lovely belt for £6 that went nicely with the boots I liked the most (£20). All of the items apart from the boots were on the sale pages, and I would consider buying all of them! I really want too try those leggings just too see if patterned leggings suit me haha!!

Magnificent Mondays!

Hello every one! As you know, Mondays can be droll days, the first day of work/school/college. But for me, they are marvellous! I am one of the very lucky people to get Mondays off and I love it! I either spend my Mondays in my PJs or with one of my friends!
This Monday I spent the time with one of my besties, Rachel. She popped round at about 11, meaning I had to get up early on a Monday for once ;)

My make of the day was just a cat eye flick and some red lippy;

We spent the first part of the day taking every thing out of my wardrobe and drawers to do a Spring clean of my clothes!! She let me know what I should keep and what I should chuck, and I still ended up with a bigger Keep pile than Chuck haha!!

We took a break at about half 12, to pop into Waterlooville to grab some lunch at the local Wetherspoons! I love it there, the food is always so good! We both had the same thing, though I had the Vegetarian version; Sausage, beans and chips!

The Wetherspoons was new so I snapped a couple of pics! I saw this lovely chair that I was very tempted to take home with me;

There was some lovely wood detailing too, it was almost like eating in a forest, it was very cool, the kind of effect I'd love to work in my own place!

Pretty! Rachel decided to get a dessert too and she picked cheesecake. Wetherspoons cheesecake is THE BEST CHEESECAKE EVER. So Rachel kindly let me have some, the bits that she hadn't covered in chocolate sauce!

So rich, so creamy, so YUM!! Once our bellies were full, we had a little walk round ASDAs and then headed back home to tackle the piles of clothes lying about! I successfully transferred over from my Autumn/Winter wardrobe to my Spring/Summer wardrobe, YAY!

The good thing about clearing out all your drawers and things, is that you find random items you forgot about it, like this lovely Skyrim hat! Me and Rachel both took turns in looking like we were going to slay a few dragons;

Since I also made a lot of room in my drawers, I decided to shuffle things about and move all my make up and nail polishes to the two small top drawers! I counted my nail polishes while I did this and I ended up counting 57!! And I still want more haha!

Just before this, I did Rachel's manicure and she was waiting for them to dry while I did this. I turned around to find her like this!

Comfy Rachel? She left soon afterwards as it was close to five and she had the hayfever, so wasn't feeling too good by then! When she left I popped some washing on, tidied my room up a bit and took photos for my clothes sale!! I also got a good bit of news in the post, as I got a tax rebate! WOO HOO!

OOTD + LOTD

Hey there!! Today it snowed and it was awesome! Sorry I haven't blogged recently, haven't had the heart or the time really!! But I am on my christmas holidays now so YAY!! So here is a quick couple of pictures of me today!

Look of the day. Only a week till Christmas, so officially allowed to do sparkly make up and dressed up hair!

Only had sparkly eyeliner on my lash line, no eye colour or anything!!

Outfit consisted of Welly boots, purple waterfall cardy from M&S and a jumper dress underneath!

It wasn't TOO cold outside, BUT this might just mean its going to snow again!! Might blog later, I have an idea for a blog!!

Friday Fun ~ Sunday Haul

Hello bloggers!! Long time no blog!! Well all is back on schedule today!! But more of that later I think ;D
I haven't been up to much apart from Friday and yesterday, since I got back from my boyfriends Thursday, moped most of Friday and just stayed in all Saturday!!
Friday evening me and my dad went to a family party to celebrate my Godfathers grandsons 4th birthday! He looked so cute in his little Buzz Lightyear outfit but I forgot to take a photo!! *shot*

My dad and my Godfather have been friends for years and years, but my Godfather lives near Dubai for work at the moment so when they get together they hang out and act like kids!! For example, my Godfather threw some shoes at me haha!! And when I went outside I found them playing with glow sticks...

I dressed in a blue summer dress but I forgot to take a picture d'oh!! But I took a silly picture of me so you can kinda see my blue sparkly make up!

Half way through the night, Lou decided to fall on the floor and the kids (and the bigger kids) jumped on her!!

After most of them got off!!

Ahhh I kinda did get Archie in his Buzz Lightyear outfit after all haha!! Lou was just giggling all through it and so was Archie!! You can see the feet of Brooke in the left shes so cute!! Luckily she was wearing clothes here, when we first got there, she promptly took off her Spanish dress!!
We wore the kids out after Kurt kept running around the house being chased by them and we played balloon catching with them. They fell asleep on a blow up bed people blew up for them.

So cute!! We soon left after that and went to bed!
As I said Saturday was boring and I just stayed in all day!!
Sunday, my mum booked a personal shopper and we went to Debenhams!! I love that shop but it can be a bit out of my price range, so I was lucky my mum was with me this time!! Here is what I wore:

 We sat in this little room with its own changing room and free tea, coffee or water!! I chose water as they had no green tea, my mum had a cup of tea. They are getting a suite specially for the personal shoppers soon but its just a building site at the moment!!

Once we told her what we like, she went out for 15 minutes and bought a rail in of amazing clothes!! I was a bit dissapointed she bought in some lovely clothes for me but the style what they are, they didn't fit over my hips!! I am small on top and big on the bottom and she didn't seem to realise that!! But she was very good for my mum!!

My mum eventually picked out three dresses, two for her holiday to South Africa and one for a party!! I got a photo but it fuzzed a little cause my mum moved!!

Now all was not at a loss for me!! When we first came in, she had a maxi dress over the hooks from a previous shopper which I loved the look off!! I tried one on and it looked really nice and the Personal Shopper found a great belt to go with it!!

And my now prize possession which I ADORE and fell in love with as soon as I saw it. A dark purple satchel bag. OMG I LOVE IT

This bag is going to be looked after like no bag before it!! I want to keep it for ever and ever!! Its so lovely and soft fake leather and metal detail on the straps and the clasp and it has two pockets inside with a inner zipper pocket on one of them and a place to put my phone!! Ahhh I love it so much!!

Now after a lovely shop, I relaxed the rest of the day!! I decided to paint my nails in GOSH's Holographic!! I love the colour!!

Late Haul post

But first FREEDOOOOM!!! College is finally over (finished on Thursday) and I am free till mid September!! I should really look for a job, but I think its going to be time to spend with my boyfriend/friends instead D: I will still try and look for a job though, no fun being poor!!

On the other hand though, if I did have a job and had the money I might not of gone into charity shops! I know some people turn their nose up at other peoples offerings, but in a world with ebay and charity stores and clothes swaps, and of course, recession, I don't think we can afford to be too fussy any more!!

Last Saturday, I went shopping round North End in Portsmouth, where we have little charity shops, a Peacocks, a Superdrugs ect. Just perfect for a quick shop to push down the shopping obsession for another week!

And these cute wedges for £2.99!! I love them, and they are comfy too!

This cute 50's style cardigan!! I love it, it reminds me of the Pink Ladies, from Grease! £3.99!

And finally bought two Gosh nail varnishes for £8. I bought two of the same one, one for me, one for my friend!!

Its 549 Holographic!! Its such a gorgeous colour, silver with a rainbow shine (can't see it so much in the picture) Will do a mini review once I have done my nails properly tomorrow!

Weekend Sum Up

Saturday I got up at like 12 and had to go to a family party!! I didn't know what to wear to I threw on something and threw on some make LOLOLOL I need to plan before I do things >_<



Anyways it was a fun day!! I love my family so I enjoyed hanging out with them. And the food is always good! NYR start tommorrow though so bubye junk food *cries and flails* But it was fun pigging out on pizza slices and cheese and crisps and profiteroles!! Yummy yummy!! We just sit or stand around and talk to each other (how many families do that nowadays?)while the kids played around us! My two little cousins Benny and Bannor are so cute! Bannor decided my dress was a good place for a tent! They are only three XD



Sunday was boring so I decided to attack my room! I was meant to be doing homework, but I had pictures to work on and a room to tidy and ironing and washing T_T I need to start getting up early *sigh* Here is my room at the end of the day, still looks kinda messy cause of my washing drying but the bed is tidy and made with fresh sheets (I like doing it every Sunday fresh sheets fresh PJs!)

Haha thats all my draings on ma wall I'm a geek like that!!

New Years!

HAPPY NEW YEARS BLOGGER!! One of my resolutions is to update this more!! So heres a New Year blog with some pictures from last night and today!

Unlike most people my age (21) I much prefer a quieter night with my family, playing family games, eating finger food and watching the tv count down. Boring I know :P

So heres the outfit I was wearing last night. The dress I bought from a shop in Hull, England and the jacket was from New Look. My shoes were from Marks and Spencers!





For my make up I just put on some gold eyeshadow and added a line of gold sparkle above the upper lash line

I love a good family doo instead of going out clubbing I have always been a family girl!!

And on to the day itself! I forced myself out of bed at 12 since I feel real tired at the moment and its a struggle to get up (going to sleep at 3am doesn't help either). I decided to try and work on some of my New Years resolutions, ie get out into the fresh air every day and eating better and looking after myself. I got up, had a bath (exfoliatioooon) and moisturised before getting dressed and putting on my make up! I just wore a comfy outfit of black jeans, floral blouse over a green vest top and silver shoes. I was going to go out straight away but my boyfriend came online and I decided to stay in until 'Sharks Tale' finished (I love films like that coming on round the Holiday period). I finally forced myself out at 3:15pm and wanted to go to Superdrugs but it was shut grrrrr! Instead I decided to skulk over to Peacocks and have a browse in the sales. I found two tops and some gloves to buy and also shoes and tights that weren't on sale. I washed the tops before I took a pic so they arn't photographic right now but I took a pic of the shoes and gloves! After a lovely meal of home made stew by my dad, I went home and have spent the rest of the evening watching tv and tidying my room! Interesting yes? I was watching Charlie and the chocolate factory, Doctor Who, The Italian Job and the Big Fat Quiz of the Year. Currently watching Gordon Ramsey right now as I type this!
Well, I had a pretty calm New Years Day, how about you? HAPPY NEW DECADE PEOPLE!





Most of my resolutions I am going to start Monday. Theres nothing better than starting a new life on a Monday!
