Outifits of the Weekend

Hello there! Here is a few photos of my recent outfits from the weekend! Since I have to wear a uniform for both college and work, I don't often get a chance to wear normal clothes, but when I do, I will show you! Both outfits feature stuff from my recent Primarni haul blog post!!

On Saturday I attended my mums panto and I wanted to show off my new red polka dot dress, so I paired it with some pink and red flats and a nice black blazer for a casual pretty look!

I look really tired, because I was, I have not been sleeping well, but oh well. I love this dress! The necklace is the feather one from Primark too, but I didn't want to over do it, so I kept it simple and let the dress do the talking, rather than lots of jewellery!

I literally love this dress. I can't wait to find another excuse to wear it!

I did not wear anything interesting Sunday apart from my work uniform, so onto Monday! It is a rare Monday that I actually get dressed, but I had stuff to do, so dressed I did! It gave me a chance to wear my new owly blazer, plus a new top I had bought a couple of weeks ago but not worn yet!

Black skinny jeans, red owl blazer, black space top are all Primark (I love you place of work), the gold flatforms are an ebay find (I love you ebay). I just love this outfit, it was comfy and I felt awesome in it. Even though it was tipping it down, I had my coat open (I didn't have much choice, the button fell off and I haven't sewn it back on yet) and strutted around Portsmouth like a boss. I am getting too old to care about what people think about my style. If they don't like it they don't have to look haha!

My face was super grumpy in this photo, but it was a good one of the outfit, so I improved my face on GIMP haha! I suppose you can see a little bit of the weight I have lost over last year in these photos, but more weight will be lost!!

What do you think of the outfits? Do you get a chance to wear pretty stuff, or are you stuck in a uniform a lot? LET ME KNOW <3 p="">
STAY BEAUTIFUL and thank you for reading!

Primarni Shopping Haul!

Yes yes, I know, my saving goal, I know! But this stuff only came to £17 altogether so shush haha!

So I got paid Friday and the first thing I do is decide if I NEED any thing. And I obviously do need a new dress, blazer and necklace....OF COURSE I DO. I did need the organiser thing though, its brilliant and will help me be more..organised.

All of this is from Primark, where I work, so I often go round and see things I want and have to resist!

But THIS, this I could not resist. I eyed it up before and I was like, NO, I must not spend £13 on you, £13 I do not have! And then it went in the sale...for £5!! FIVE POUNDS!! I couldn't pass up on a pretty little bargain like that! So I didn't! I grabbed that dress as fast as I could, and it looks so pretty, pics of it on to come in a upcoming post!

This jacket was also in the sale for £7. But that wasn't why I bought it. I bought, because those black dots, they are tiny owls. Yup, this jacket is covered in TINY OWLS. How can you resist, like, seriously? TINY OWLS

SEE, TINY OWLS, JUDGING YOU AND STUFF. Awesome.

I fell in love with this necklace right away. If it has feathers or wings on it then I must have it, especially when it comes to jewellery! My wing/feather collection is coming along nicely!

This little beaut only cost me £2 so I couldn't say no, could I! It is a pencil/pen pot with a magnetic notepad, mini address book, mini notebook and two pencils! All for £2 (reduced from £4) I found only one in my store, so I think I was lucky! I just love the print on it, there are little birds on it too, which you can't see here. I love Primark sometimes!

So that's my little haul from Primark, do you often find little gems in the sale and accessories or is it just me? Aren't owls just adorable? Tell me what you think!

STAY BEAUTIFUL and thank you for reading!

OOTD + FOTD 2/7/12

Just a quick little Outfit and Face of the Day post!

I went out with my friends for a couple of hours down town so I put on something that wasn't totally awful and shimmied on down to town!

Looking at other outfit posts and things like this, I see people put a lot of photos of one outfit up. I, as of yet, can not do this, for reasons unknown to me....ANY WAYS, I DID manage to find a spot in my house that isn't my mirror where I can set up my camera to take pics ;D

I am not too sure where every thing was from D: I think the cardy was from Republic and the shoes and tights are from Primarni! That's all I vaguely remember, sorry!

My make up was a simple affair, as I am lazy with my make up to be fair. I don't do anything fancy. Base, eye shadow, eyeliner, lipstick, done!

Products I used (which is a bit easier to remember ;D ) :
Benefit The Porefessional
Collection 2000 Cover Up Stick
LUSH Jackie Oats Colour Supplement
Rimmel London Pure White Eye Liner
Benefit Eye Bright
MUA Blusher Shade 1
MUA Poptastic Palette
Urban Decay Eyeliner in Zero
MUA Lip Boom Doin' Good

The first 6 things are what I always put on, the rest underneath often vary (but at the moment, not much!)

So that was my outfit and face for yesterday! Todays will come tomorrow, because my life is out of sync, like my brain :P

STAY BEAUTIFUL

HELLO and Thank you! Plus OOTD!

I would like to start of by saying a whacking great big HELLO AND THANK YOU to my new followers <333 I hope I am not too boring for you and you enjoy my bloggy!!

Today, I had to go to North London for a family get together, as it was my Step-Grandfathers 80th birthday!! I don't mind going there as much as I used too (maybe I am growing up LE GASP), it probably helped I was in good spirits today!! I met a lovely old lady I hadn't seen before, called Moira, whose parents were Irish but she was born in Yorkshire! I love talking to elderly people, I find their stories fascinating (I am weird like that) because you are learning about a different era! I wish I was born in the 50s sometimes :( THE CLOTHES!!
Anyways, I always try and look nice when I go up there, so I put on one of my favourite longer dresses:

I love this dress, I got it in a sale at Peacocks!! Not too sure where the jacket is from (for one who goes shopping a lot of the stuff I wear can be a few seasons old!) and the shoes are from Dorothy Perkins! My favourite shoes to wear at the moment as they are SO COMFY and high, perfect for a little short person like me! (5 Foot 3 inches, I am a tall short person)

I just adore how pretty that necklace my mum picked out is, might become my fast favourite for a while!! I could stare at it all night, even the photo! But I won't, I have a blog to write!! I decided to match the earrings and the bracelet to the pearl like beads round the necklace, I think it matches pretty well!!
You can see the colour of this coat better in this picture! I love it so much, its just the right length for me and its soooo pretty and fitted in the right places!! I adore it!! Pink is definately invading my wardrobe at the moment! Remember my pink Winter Yumi coat?! Now I have a S/S one to match! (kinda, the Yumi one is even more girly and pink, but twice the price ;) )

The journey from Hampshire to North London is a long one and we are often bound to run into traffic:
Le traffic
Twas around Hindhead, stupid Hindhead, be less trafficy already!!
You can tell I was bored (and very hungry) as I took this photo of a lovely sign I was staring at for ages
I couldn't read my book as my migraine that nearly killed me on Friday is still lurking vaguely in the form of pressure on my brain, so it hurt to read :( Sad times

The most interesting thing on the journey back was seeing a magpie attacking a buzzard, maybe trying to get its food? That magpie was either mightily brave or mightily stupid!! Shame I couldn't get a picture :(

Anyways, thats it for tonight folks, enjoy your bank holiday (if you are in England) or enjoy your Monday (if thats even possible)

Stay beautiful!

Wednesday Fashions ~ What will I be buying this S/S?

Hi guys! Its Wednesday, so that means, its fashion day! And today I will show you examples of the kind of thing that I will be purchasing over the Spring/Summer season!! I don't follow fashions, just what I love and what suits me!! So lets go on shall we!!

Shoes ~ Wedges!
I only have three pairs of wedges (boo) but I plan to buy more *evil laugh*. I love wedges, they are just so comfy, yet you can get them in tall heels and not risk wobbling!! I only have open toed wedges, so I will be looking to buy a couple of closed toe wedges for those days where you need tights, or there are puddles! As you may of seen in my last post, I have my eye on these babies:

And I WILL be buying them in two weeks time, as I definitely want them!! There have been some things I have seen and wanted at that moment, but a week or so later, am not that bothered about any more. SO Frugal February is helping me save money greatly!! But these wedgies, are definitely mine baby ;D

Bags ~ Beach Bags
This is also linking into a trend I will be loading up on, which is floral!! I have not really had any proper straw beach bag style, or seen any that I like, till I saw THIIIIS

Ooooo its so floral and floaty and straw like!! I love it!! And for only £16.99 from New Look, thats not too bad!! Its a good size too and has inside pockets for your phone and things, so I want this for beach trips!! I will be buying this in March too! Definitely!!

Dresses ~ Maxi
Last year, I discovered my love of Maxi dresses. This year, MY LOVE LIVES ON. I have four maxi dresses, but one I put away for just summer, the other three doing their rotations through my weekly wardrobes!! And luckily for me, maxi dresses have burst back into the S/S collections in shops so I am a happy Kitty! I have seen a few maxi dresses I love, I like em floaty, especially this one from Monsoon:
Its so lovely, especially in real life, but at £140 its a bit pricey, but I am sure there are many more a bit more affordable dresses in shops!!

Trend ~ Lace
Its not just floral and floaty I am going for this S/S, I still have a love for lace. Oooo frilly lacy pretty nudey dresses you do smite me with your girlyness. I saw some lovely things in H&M and Next recently, but I do adore this jacket in pale pink (its in shops, but the colour doesn't appear to be online so heres the grey version)
It even has bow detail. Hnngggggg. Must resist!!! I think this might be a maybe item, if I can find another lace jacket that I love more (and that might be cheaper) then I shall go for that instead ;D

So there is what I will be looking for this S/S
What will you be looking to buying or wearing in the next two seasons?(since I know there are some A/W ladies in the Southern Hemisphere out there ;D )

Fashion Day!

So today is Wednesday and that means time to talk about fashion this week that inspires me!! I love looking at pretty pictures (mostly of asian clothes, asian clothes are just too CUTE) but other fashions make me happy too. I am not one to follow the fashion world, as I live in my own world of my own style (as you have probably noticed ;D )
So here are a few photos I have seen that I have to share my thoughts on!
Add caption
Girly? Check. Pretty? Check. Bows? Check. Heels? Check. Frills? Check....I could go on. I just ADORE outfits like this and I wished I owned every single pretty dress and shoes I see!! If I can find someway to recreate this outfit I WILL. I just adore the bows down the front of the dress, the detail in the trimming round the cardigan, the roses on the shoes....GAH EVERYTHING. Things like this are my dream outfits!

HNNGGGGGGGG CUTE SOCKS OVER TIGHTS COMING OUT OF BOOTS. Ahem, yes. I love. And the outfit looks like its probably super cute too. But I do love the look of cute socks sticking out of boots. I just wish my calves weren't so BIG so I could get away with this look!

Okay, the model might look a bit constipated and the boots are a bit tacky for my tastes BUT DRESS. YOU REDEM THIS PICTURE. And the beret, if I could get away with berets...but omg a polka dotty white dress, it looks so perfect for those days in Spring where it can't decide to be hot or cold!! I die for one of these dresses!

DRESSGASM. THAT IS ALL.

I want these dresses T3T I love the sailor design and the gingham!! Both would be perfect for summer picnics and booooows BOOOOWS.

And thus concludes my first 'Fashion' post haha! So did you like anything in here? I just love lolita and pretty and hime styles so much *swirls in sparkles*

Another River Island goodie!! £39.99! I ADOOORE these boots!! Very similar to my new look ones in style buy black and flat basically, so when I have my two days of flats a week, I won't have to wear shoes that make my feet cold!! (I have another pair of furry flat boots so I can wear them too hur hur hur) I have the money for these, just not the postage money as they don't do them in my local River Island so I need to order them off the net! Perfect for College!! Hello Kitty lunch box!! Only £11.80!! ( I think thats pretty cheap considering a lot of ones on ebay are more expensive!!) Fridays!!

If you want to exchange letters with me please check out this blogpost: Lets Exchange Letters!

If you want to check out nerdy stuff, follow this blog here: Kitty's Nerd Stuff

Dress from Primark, Cardy from charity, black leggings
Onto Friday!! As always, Fridays were fun as the boyfie finishes work earlier and he comes home and we go into town!!  At first I thought it was going to be cold so I added a gold scarf to this get up but when we went outside it was real warm!! I was wearing my new shoe boots though and they only started burning the balls of my feet a little after four hours!! Record! They are so comfy!!

Usually we do a little clothes shop, but we only really had time to go to TKMaxx where the boyfie usually manages to pick up some trousers (He is 6 foot 6 inches so he finds it hard to get trousers long enough!) But this time, I picked up something!! I will show you in the next post as I am wearing it today haha!!

Afterwards we went to Tescos to get our food shopping and they have really stupid deals where the stuff we wanted was the only thing not in the deal!! At least we had a £10 voucher though!! After we came out, it had got a bit dark, a bit contrast with the blue skies and sun that was present when we come into town!! Check out the pretty sky though!
What a sky!!! So dark and scary but so pretty and cool at the same time!!

We went back on the bus with our shopping and when we got in, one of the cats was sitting in the laundry basket on top of the fridge. So all the time I was putting stuff away in the fridge and looked up, this was what greeted me:
Made me giggle everytime
My boyfies friend came round for a bit so we hung out, drank tea and played arcade games!! After that we went to bed so it was a pretty fast day for us!! Its raining today so I don't think we will be going out but I am sure we will do something fun!! He has a week off now, so I don't know if I will be able to update everyday but I will try!! Here was my make up of the day, sparkly gold!
