On the Docks

Hey there everybody! This is a little blog post about the last couple of days, spent with my sexy boyfriend!!  

New Years Day we spent with my mum, step dad, Grandma and Granddad, having the first big roasty dinner of the year. Good way to spend the first day I say!! Followed by a delicious home made banoffee pie, perfect first meal of 2012!!
New Years Day evening, I booked a hotel for us both on our last night! I went on LateRooms.com to check out prices, and the one hotel had a double room and an executive room the same price, so I went for the Executive suite as I have never been in one before and when we got in we both went WOOOW

We had a bedroom AND a lounge area!! Just next to the sofa was a medium dining table, and the TV was a widescreen LCD! To the far right of the photo, just out of view, is the bathroom! All it needed was a kitchen and it would of been the perfect flat for us! We had dinner in the pub next door and then watched movies and things all night, it was a lovely end to New Years Day!

His coach wasn't till 12:30 so we got up in time to get to Gunwharf by 11:30, which mean't we had time for a walk about the local dock yard! Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, a place where the Royal Navy have launched ships for as long as since Henry the 8ths time!!
Since it is Royal Navy grounds, they have police and things around, and this sign right at the entrance, under which my boyfriend decided to check for things in his suitcase. Not very suspicious at all!!

We had a walk round the Dockyards and saw a couple of ships, like this one, the HMS Victory;

The ship was so big I couldn't fit it all on the camera!!
There were a few modern day ships about too, but they were all behind fences and gates, so I couldn't get to see what they were called!! I did manage to snap a picture of one though!

It started getting on a bit so we headed back, and popped into the shop on the way, which had loads of cool things in it like compasses, mini steam engines, hats, figurines ect. I quite liked this nifty hat, but I didn't have the money :P

Unfortunately we had to go wait for the coach then! We managed to take a couple of snaps of us together, because I forgot to earlier in the week!

This was the best photo :P Its because we were in the queue for the coach and we had to rush!! He had to go home then :( Sad times! But luckily I get to see him again in February!! Which is not long, I can't wait!!

And a photo he took of me at the Bowplex/Arcade we went to too pass time before watching Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol (AWESOME). I like going on the Arcades there, especially the shooting game!

As I said, I won't be seeing him till February again, but hopefully that will go quickly!! I can't wait to see him again and spend more time with him!! We will of been together for 6 years in April, hopefully soon we can live together!!

Happy 2011 Bloggers!!

Hey there!! How is everyone? Its 2011! Wow 2010 went fast, does anyone else think this? It went really really fast for me!!
Sorry I haven't been such a good blogger recently, but I am going to try and be a good blogger again, its even in my New Years resolutions!!

Talking of Resolutions, I wrote down all the things I wanted to achieve/resolve, and I came out with 14!! SO MANY!! But I shall write them all down here for you guys to have a look! I have a journal to write things down in now as well, which I will take with me everywhere, and try and keep writing in it!

NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS:

1. To loose a stone by my birthday (May 18th)
2. To exercise three times a week
3. To walk for 20-30 minutes on the other days (this will help my S.A.Ds too!)
4. To break a real bad habit (to embarrassed to write it online haha!)
5. To not eat chocolate, except on Wednesdays. Hot chocolate is an exception, but only drink it every other day.
6. To try and write my blog once a day (and write my other blogs once a week!)
7. To draw at least once a day
8. Finish at least one story/comic project
9. Finish monthly chibi project
10. Eat more varieties of healthy food (ie look up healthy recipes, eat more of a variety of fruit and veg)
11. Do homework as soon as I get it (this I NEED I am so bad with homework)
12. Get butt in gear with coursework
13. Open a savings account and be sensible with money
14. Get a permenant job!!

There are lots of things I want to achieve this year, like loosing enough weight to feel comfortable in my body again, move in with my boyfriend, complete college and get good grades, complete one of my personal projects, learn to cook lots of yummy things without burning them!

Today I haven't done much, I went for a walk, bought some squash so I can drink more water, wrote in my journal and now I am writing this!! Just waiting for my dinner, then I think I will draw something! I wonder what today is, I think todays project is High School Horrors! I shall go check.

New Years!

HAPPY NEW YEARS BLOGGER!! One of my resolutions is to update this more!! So heres a New Year blog with some pictures from last night and today!

Unlike most people my age (21) I much prefer a quieter night with my family, playing family games, eating finger food and watching the tv count down. Boring I know :P

So heres the outfit I was wearing last night. The dress I bought from a shop in Hull, England and the jacket was from New Look. My shoes were from Marks and Spencers!





For my make up I just put on some gold eyeshadow and added a line of gold sparkle above the upper lash line

I love a good family doo instead of going out clubbing I have always been a family girl!!

And on to the day itself! I forced myself out of bed at 12 since I feel real tired at the moment and its a struggle to get up (going to sleep at 3am doesn't help either). I decided to try and work on some of my New Years resolutions, ie get out into the fresh air every day and eating better and looking after myself. I got up, had a bath (exfoliatioooon) and moisturised before getting dressed and putting on my make up! I just wore a comfy outfit of black jeans, floral blouse over a green vest top and silver shoes. I was going to go out straight away but my boyfriend came online and I decided to stay in until 'Sharks Tale' finished (I love films like that coming on round the Holiday period). I finally forced myself out at 3:15pm and wanted to go to Superdrugs but it was shut grrrrr! Instead I decided to skulk over to Peacocks and have a browse in the sales. I found two tops and some gloves to buy and also shoes and tights that weren't on sale. I washed the tops before I took a pic so they arn't photographic right now but I took a pic of the shoes and gloves! After a lovely meal of home made stew by my dad, I went home and have spent the rest of the evening watching tv and tidying my room! Interesting yes? I was watching Charlie and the chocolate factory, Doctor Who, The Italian Job and the Big Fat Quiz of the Year. Currently watching Gordon Ramsey right now as I type this!
Well, I had a pretty calm New Years Day, how about you? HAPPY NEW DECADE PEOPLE!





Most of my resolutions I am going to start Monday. Theres nothing better than starting a new life on a Monday!
