Blisters are Better, Drawing is fun again!

Where I am it is June!! So happy June!! Bit of a late night blogging going on here, cause I been doing other things :P But I thought I still best update :D Even though I am in bed at the moment, ehehehe!

Today, was an earlish start for me, 830am!! I am a lazy soul and usually don't get up before 9am! But I had to meet my friend at 11 and the bus takes about an hour (and I take about an hour and a half to get ready!) so I had to get up! Luckily, its a 9am start Wednesday morning, so I can fit in this sneaky bloggings before I go to sleepies!

My friend Jess wanted to go to Lush, to stock up on a couple of things before heading back to Canada (booo, shes so awesome!) and so we raided it! I have been raiding Lush often in the past month and now have many Lush things! So naughty!! Not cheap at all either!! Tsk tsk! Mind you, it WAS my birthday, so I was spending birthday money, thats allowed, right?

After Lush, Jess had to go and work (shes a nanny) so I went to check out boots and what I could spend my £6 worth of points on! I had already bought some Soap And Glory stuff, but the other thing I wanted to try was £7 something, and you can't use Boots points and money :( So I hit the make up instead and good ole Barry M ;D Now, I have never tried  Barry M except in nail polishes, so I tried a lipstick! I wanted a nice lavender shade, so picked up this one (sorry the pictures suck, phone camera!):

See, a lovely lavender shade in the tube!! It has a creamy consistency, very nice though!

My mum doesn't think it suits me so much and I am not sure, but I will give it go, as it is such a lovely colour!!
That was £4.49, so I decided to check out the jewellery on sale as well! I got this lovely little wing (which my mum hated, she hates random wings)

I think its really cute and pretty though!! Even on my stubby fat fingers!! Talking of fingers, I used my Barry M Crackeds Monday night!

I loved how it turned out! I used all Barry M nail polishes, a red with pink cracking on top and pink with black cracking on top! I think it looks marvolous :D I painted my toe nails the same red:

I was taking all these photos while nomming on some delicious cous cous, I always pinch my dads packets of cous cous!!

After hanging out at my dads and eating his food, I decided I best go home and revise for my looming exams! Luckily, I had obtained a cakey on the way home, so it wasn't all bad:

Mmmmmmm cake and tea, with a good ole Greek Tragedy, just how I like it ;D Today was revision for Classical Civilisation, so I was reading through the booklet we got given and making more notes on Oedipus the King. Its quite interesting, if you are weird like me and into that kinda thing!
I only did two hours of revising because thats all I can handle, I get restless easily! Unless I am doing different things, I can't sit and read, unless its a really good book! I put some washing on half way through haha!!

I love necklaces and earrings with feathers on at the moment, I don't know why, but its become an obsession! I believe this lovely necklace is from Primark

I thought I'd do an up close shot of the print on my cardy so you can see the little butterflies! I was wearing flowers and butterflys :D

I LOVE these shoes, they are so comfy and cute, with denim like material!!

After revision and dinner, I just chilled out max and decided to start drawing again!! I decided to begin with a picture of one of my more abandoned original characters, Kyo:

Not tooooo bad considering I haven't really drawn properly in two months!! I will colour him in tomorrow!

Vanity-Fashionista Blog sale haul

A couple of weeks ago, I went on the lovely Vanity-Fashionista's blog sale to peruse if there was any make up I might want to buy from her. She is a really friendly blogger, and you should check out her blog!! Needless to say, I was tempted so I bought two things from her, a lipstick and a nail polish!! Shes so lovely, she sent me two mini opi pots too!!

Now I have worn all of these, I painted my nails with Vintage Polish right away, but I forgot to take pictures! D'oh!! But luckily I wore it again this week as well, so I have a picture of it (along with two other polishes, by Barry M);

Someone said they looked like Easter Egg colours, so I have been calling them my Easter Egg nails all week!

The O.P.I nail lacquer is a gorgeous pinky red colour, which I love on my toe nails. It always makes me happy to have painted toe nails!

I use the top coat and it is very quick drying for me!! The Eyeko polish does not last as long as Barry M (I find Barry M chips the least out of all my nail polishes) but it is still very long lasting (compared to GOSH shall we say)

I love the lipstick, it smells fruity for one, which might put some people off, but I love nice smelling lipsticks!!
Its such a pretty red colour too, though you can't see too much in this picture;

Its a berry red, not to bright, just right for defined lips thats not too OTT!!

So thank you Vanity-Fashionista for giving me the opportunity to buy these lovely products!! You were my last make up buy for a while haha!

My New Love: LIPSTICKS

Hello ladies!! I know I said next post would be Cheddar Gorge but I want to, on Fridays, do a make up post!! So Fridays are for make up kiddies!!

Today I will be talking about lipsticks! I only have 9 right now, but I think I have bought three in three weeks (might buy another one next week to make it an even ten, 9 doesn't sit right with me ;D ). My main love at the moment is MUA lipsticks!! I love MUA (Make Up Academy) stuff, and I said to myself one day, Kitty, you are gonna collect everything MUA that you will use!! SO I started with the lipsticks, of which I now own four!! Here is a picture of all my lipsticks firstly:

If I count my GOSH lipbalm I could probably make it ten haha!! So here is the line up of my lipsticks!!

MUA Lipstick Shade 2

This is one of my darker nudey shades, one I bought to match my GOSH lipbalm colour in fact. I would call this colour a plummy pink colour and I love it, I think I swatched it on my lips recently but I am not sure! If you do want swatches please do ask!!
Consistency: Creamy and feels moisturising but not sure if it is. It doesn't dry out my lips though
Colour: Plummy pink
Smell: Like all MUA lipsticks, it smells surprisingly nice. A almost sweet vanilla smell.
Taste: Haven't noticed a particular strong taste or bad taste
Longevity: Last quite a while, but after eating or drinking can fade.
Price: £1!!
Where to buy?: I buy mine from Superdrugs
Rating: 4/5 I give it this score as the only thing is it doesn't last as long as I like but apart from that its brilliant value for money!! Credit crunch make up!!

MUA Lipstick Shade 6

I needed something MLBB so I went to my local superdrugs on a hunt!! I think this was the second MUA lipstick I bought, looking for something nudey pink so I could wear it with heavy eye make up. I love this shade as it gives my lips that omph without looking OTT!!

Consistency: creamy and non drying
Colour: Light nudey pink
Smell: MUA's sweet vanilla smell
Taste: no specific strong taste
Longevity: not too bad, but not brilliant
Price: £1
Where to buy?: Superdrugs
Rating: 4/5 I love this colour to whack on when I am wearing intense eyes, as its a lovely nude colour, like my lips but better!! Its ever so slightly shimmery but not major. Brilliant value

MUA Lipstick Shade 8

I actually bought this lipstick yesterday!! I haven't had a chance to wear it yet but I might do it today!! Its such an intense shade and I love it on my lips!!

Consistency: creamy and non drying
Colour: darkish red with a shimmer
Smell: sweet vanilla
Taste: no strong taste
Longevity: don't know yet!!

Rating: can't really rate this one yet as I haven't worn it!!

MUA Lipstick Shade 12

This was the first MUA lipstick I bought, looking for a muted down shade of my NYC lipstick. Its a lovely pink shade with glittery  sparkles in it that show up on my lips and leave a nice effect.

Consistency: cream and non drying
Colour: brightish pink with sparkly bits
Smell: sweet vanilla
Taste: no strong taste
Longevity: decent enough for its price

Price: £1
Where to buy?: Superdrugs
Rating: 4/5 Again, the only reason the MUA lipsticks arn't perfect is their longevity!!

NYC Lipstick in 405B Blue Rose

I was looking for a bright pink shade one day, to be daring and I found this lovely colour!! I have to wear it on a brave day but it does look perfect on me once you get over the shock of the colour!
Consistency: creamy but a bit drying
Colour: bright pink with blue undertones
Smell: slight lipstick smell (do you know what I mean by lipstick smell?)
Taste: no particular taste
Longevity: I was amazed by the longevity of this lipstick. It keeps on going for ages and ages, and I talk and eat a lot!!

Price: £1.99
Where to buy?: Superdrugs
Rating: 4/5 The only problem is its a bit drying on my lips but apart from that its great value for money!!

Avon Lipstick in Vintage Pink

My mum got this lipstick free when she bought something from Avon (under my encouragement) and decided that the colour didn't suit her (shes dark skinned as my Grandad is Pakistani always tanned the lucky woman) so she gave it to me, what a shame :D
Consistency: its quite a hard lipstick but goes on nicely
Colour: I can only describe it as a nude red. It is a pinky red but not too intense, but it looks good!
Smell: I always thought it smelt lovely, like parma violets!!
Taste: don't taste of anything
Longevity: lasts a very long time but fades after too much drinking and eating

Price: £6.50
Where to buy?: From an Avon representative or the website (see below)
Rating: 4/5 is a good lipstick, but can get a similar performing lipstick for cheaper

Avon Lipstick in Frozen Rose

I don't remember where I got this, I believe it was last Christmas and its a lovely nude colour, but I use it sparingly as it can be a bit too pale for my lips depending on the make up I am wearing. It has lovely gold undertones so is quite a warm shade! Avon no longer sells this lipstick though
Consistency: smooth not too creamy
Colour: a light pinky shade with golden undertones
Smell: smells a bit sweet but with a tiny sawdust smell
Taste: no strong taste
Longevity: lasts okay but does fade after eating and drinking

Price: not sure as no longer sold
Where to buy?: no longer avaliable
Rating: I give this a 3/5 as it was probably expensive but doesnt last long and has a slight bad smell

Clinique Different Lipstick in Rose Taffy

I wanted a expensive lipstick just to see what they are like!! Luckily my uncle works for Este Lauder so I got these for Christmas :D I went into Debenhams first though to check my ideal shade, which turned out to be this lovely nudey pink!
Consistency: creamy but ever so slightly greasy
Colour: nudey rose pink colour with shimmers
Smell: classic lipstick smell
Taste: tiny bit of a taste but unnoticeable mostly
Longevity: lasts as long as you expect it too, very good longevity!

Price: £14.50
Where to buy?: Debenhams and online
Rating: 4/5 I don't like the lipstick smell and the slight greasyness but apart from that you DO get what you pay for in longevity and colour!!

GOSH Soft'n Shine lipbalm in Perfect Plum 34

Every now and then I splurge on some expensive drug store make up and most of the time the splurge is on GOSH!! I do love GOSH make up but its a bit pricey for me!! But I saw this and wanted to try a tinted lip balm!! This works quite well on my lips and it is very pigmented!
Consistency: creamy and greasy due to the moisturising
Colour: lovely plum colour
Smell: it smells like the lovely sweet tic tac smell :D
Taste: tastes a bit like tic tacs too mmmmmm
Longevity: lasts quite long despite it being greasy but does get wiped off by food

Price: I think I bought mine on offer for £6.50 but its around that price if not it
Where to buy?: Superdrugs
Rating: 4/5 If it lasted long too it would be perfect!

First Day back at College!! AKA Day From Hell

Back with my frienddds :D

The only GOOD part of Monday was going to college and seeing all my friends!! I love my friends they make me happy :D

But lets start at the begining. It started as soon as I walked out the door and forgot my umbrella. I cautiously eyed the sky and thought, well, it said it WON'T rain so maybe it will just stay cloudy. Got on the bus to Gunwharf and realised, as I go to renew my bus pass, I forgot my old bus pass and in my old bus pass is my photo card which can be reused...which would of mean't I wouldn't have to spend £5 on new photos. BUT  I has forgot the bloody thing which ended up with me battling through smelly Bestevial goers clogging up the train station only to realise I didn't have enough change for the £5 photo machine. I had to then battle back through them to the Co-Op which was right across the bus station and the other side of the road for the nearest atm. Only to find out that their machine wasn't doing cash withdrawels FML. I had to trek back across the road, walk into Gunwharf itself and withdraw money there THEN go get change. And Gunwharf isn't cheap so I went to Cadburys World and bought 60p worth of sweets and marched all the way back to the train station to get my photos, battling through more smelly people who were CLOGGING the entrance (SO RUDE GTFO OUT MY CITY) and then paid £5 for photos, £5 I really needed for other stuff grrrrr. I finally got my bus pass an HOUR after I got there and was half an hour late for college!! Luckily it wasn't a lesson or anything, just collectin time tables and student handbooks. And I got to see my friends!! So the time I was at college was good!! Got to see my besties, Lizzie and Rachel:

We were in the Enrichment Fair where you can sign up to do extra mini courses, like learning a language thats not a A level. Me and Lizzie signed up for Ancient Greek and Latin, Tom and Rachel signed up for Archery!! There was this super cute dog there!!

He was so soft and big, just the kinda dog I would love to have and cuddle!! SO CUTE.
Our tutor said we could have a break so we went to our old haunt, the Coffee House. It was empty cause only the A2s were at college and it was really weird seeing it so empty!! We saw my other friends, Chrissy, who nearly tackled me to the ground when she saw me, and Ben Ben, who is gay!!

So small but so much lik a Rhino at 40 miles per hour hugs!

When we went back to the room we were in, our tutor said we could just go home if there wasn't anything else to do so we were like YAY and went to the bus stop, where we saw Mumbler, our favourite Classics Civ nerd!!

Yes, I was wearing my precious new satchel bag. And yes, when I got off the bus...it pissed down on me..RUINING MY FREAKING BAGS PAINT. So continued the day from hell. It rained on me all the way to Superdrugs and all the way back to my dads place, leaving me very damp. I didn't notice my bag till it dried off and left big light coloured splotches across it!! It looked like someone had thrown bleach over my precious new bag, I wanted to cry!! I tried everything to fix it but nothing worked. It didn't get any worse but it didn't get any better. I suppose I will just have to live with it and think of it as a vintage look *sigh*. And to top off my day from hell, my shoes, which have never given me blisters before, decided to give me a MASSIVE blister on the side of my foot, just one foot, which was hugely painful! Ouch!! Needless to say all thoughts of diets and scheduals and stuff went out the window and I finished the day in my comfy pjs and Hello Kitty dressing gown eating Nutella with a spoon. NOM.
On the plus side I saw my friends and picked up some things from Superdrugs I wanted BUT THEY DIDN'T HAVE MY FREAKING FACEWASH. ARRGGE!! But here are the things I did pick up:

Vitamin E Moisturising cream with SPF 15, mudd mask, MUA lipstick

Needed a new morning face cream with spf

Lovely plumy colour, nearly the same shade as my GOSH soft n shine

Excuse the freckles round my lips I always have those xD

I wanted a lipstick that was a similar shade to my GOSH Soft n Shine and since I was feeling down I was like eff it, its only £1!! So I picked out the shade closest to my soft n shine lip balm and loved it straight away :D
At around midnight I got the urge to draw, so I started off a drawing, even though I should of really gone to bed I was so tired and drained, but sometimes, drawing makes me feel better!!
