Life Update

Hello every one!

I know I know, I have been away for sooooo looooong, but I am making another attempt at this blogging thing ;)

This is just a quick blog post to say hi, I am still alive! And to let you know what I have been up too!

I am nearly finished with my first year of college now! I have finished most things, except waxing, which I am not keen on, because I love relaxing people and making them feel better with massage and manicure, things like that! I want to have my own spa resort later on in life, named The Lazy Cat Resort! I still have a year left after this though!

I have a jobby! It's only a part time jobby at Primarni (Primark/Pennys), but its awesome and I love it, and it brings in the money! I started early May and it is a permanent job, and I have also applied for a second job at another place, but that's a secret shhhhhh

In weight terms, I have lost about half a stone! I say about because I recently went to Crete, then the week after I saw Nate and the week after that I had PMS soooooo, I have probably put weight back on but I am working out this week and eating less again and I will be weighing myself Friday and restarting my journey with you guys! That will be on Fridays!

I am also going to my first festival in August too! WOO, READING FESTIVAL HERE I COME!!

Now, I must go to bed as I have to be up in the morning for college!

Evening Look ~ Make Up Class

Hey guys! Some of you might know that I currently am on a course at college doing Beauty Therapy Sciences Level 3, first year! In this course we learn all sorts of salon treatments; manicures, pedicures, massage, eye treatments, waxing and make up! On Fridays, we are doing make up at the moment and this Friday, we practised an evening look. Now, we take turns every lesson, so some lessons I am the model and others, I am the MUA!

This Friday I was the MUA and my lovely friend Alison was my model! I decided to go with a slightly bronze look, building up browns of varying shades and a touch of black in the corners. It's not too out there, but its stand out enough to be evening make up!! On her lips I mixed a coral shade with a sheer pink over the top and a touch of highlighter on her cupids bow.

We have to practise coverage and techniques, so we apply concealer, foundation, shader and highlighter, blusher/bronzer, eye shadow, eye liner (which I used a touch of on the outer corners), mascara, eye brow pencil and lipstick. Applying make up on some one else is harder than it looks, but I think I did well with this look and its fun doing it!! Next week some one else is working on me, so you will get a photo of my face and what ever she does to it, haha ;)

^Monday morning and second day at college officially!! My feet were hurting from Sunday so flat shoes and comfy clothes were in order for the first day of the week!!

First Day back at College!! AKA Day From Hell

Back with my frienddds :D

The only GOOD part of Monday was going to college and seeing all my friends!! I love my friends they make me happy :D

But lets start at the begining. It started as soon as I walked out the door and forgot my umbrella. I cautiously eyed the sky and thought, well, it said it WON'T rain so maybe it will just stay cloudy. Got on the bus to Gunwharf and realised, as I go to renew my bus pass, I forgot my old bus pass and in my old bus pass is my photo card which can be reused...which would of mean't I wouldn't have to spend £5 on new photos. BUT  I has forgot the bloody thing which ended up with me battling through smelly Bestevial goers clogging up the train station only to realise I didn't have enough change for the £5 photo machine. I had to then battle back through them to the Co-Op which was right across the bus station and the other side of the road for the nearest atm. Only to find out that their machine wasn't doing cash withdrawels FML. I had to trek back across the road, walk into Gunwharf itself and withdraw money there THEN go get change. And Gunwharf isn't cheap so I went to Cadburys World and bought 60p worth of sweets and marched all the way back to the train station to get my photos, battling through more smelly people who were CLOGGING the entrance (SO RUDE GTFO OUT MY CITY) and then paid £5 for photos, £5 I really needed for other stuff grrrrr. I finally got my bus pass an HOUR after I got there and was half an hour late for college!! Luckily it wasn't a lesson or anything, just collectin time tables and student handbooks. And I got to see my friends!! So the time I was at college was good!! Got to see my besties, Lizzie and Rachel:

We were in the Enrichment Fair where you can sign up to do extra mini courses, like learning a language thats not a A level. Me and Lizzie signed up for Ancient Greek and Latin, Tom and Rachel signed up for Archery!! There was this super cute dog there!!

He was so soft and big, just the kinda dog I would love to have and cuddle!! SO CUTE.
Our tutor said we could have a break so we went to our old haunt, the Coffee House. It was empty cause only the A2s were at college and it was really weird seeing it so empty!! We saw my other friends, Chrissy, who nearly tackled me to the ground when she saw me, and Ben Ben, who is gay!!

When we went back to the room we were in, our tutor said we could just go home if there wasn't anything else to do so we were like YAY and went to the bus stop, where we saw Mumbler, our favourite Classics Civ nerd!!

Yes, I was wearing my precious new satchel bag. And yes, when I got off the bus...it pissed down on me..RUINING MY FREAKING BAGS PAINT. So continued the day from hell. It rained on me all the way to Superdrugs and all the way back to my dads place, leaving me very damp. I didn't notice my bag till it dried off and left big light coloured splotches across it!! It looked like someone had thrown bleach over my precious new bag, I wanted to cry!! I tried everything to fix it but nothing worked. It didn't get any worse but it didn't get any better. I suppose I will just have to live with it and think of it as a vintage look *sigh*. And to top off my day from hell, my shoes, which have never given me blisters before, decided to give me a MASSIVE blister on the side of my foot, just one foot, which was hugely painful! Ouch!! Needless to say all thoughts of diets and scheduals and stuff went out the window and I finished the day in my comfy pjs and Hello Kitty dressing gown eating Nutella with a spoon. NOM.
On the plus side I saw my friends and picked up some things from Superdrugs I wanted BUT THEY DIDN'T HAVE MY FREAKING FACEWASH. ARRGGE!! But here are the things I did pick up:

Vitamin E Moisturising cream with SPF 15, mudd mask, MUA lipstick

Needed a new morning face cream with spf

Lovely plumy colour, nearly the same shade as my GOSH soft n shine

Excuse the freckles round my lips I always have those xD

I wanted a lipstick that was a similar shade to my GOSH Soft n Shine and since I was feeling down I was like eff it, its only £1!! So I picked out the shade closest to my soft n shine lip balm and loved it straight away :D
At around midnight I got the urge to draw, so I started off a drawing, even though I should of really gone to bed I was so tired and drained, but sometimes, drawing makes me feel better!!

College!!

As you guys might of worked out by now, I am redoing my college. Back in September I was nervous about being 21 and going back to college, with all the wheee kiddies all being 16 ect. Some people told me I would find people my age to get on with.

Well they were sort of wrong xD Man, I must have the looks and personality of a 17 year old because new people STILL meet me and think I am their age. I think it helped me to settle down at college!! I have made many friends there, ranging from ages 16 - 18!!

I am having the time of my life there, despite the stress, and will be slightly sad that it ends next week, but only till September!! Like all students at the moment, I am extremely nervous about my results ranging from, "Well I found it easy so I should of done well," too, "I found it easy so maybe I did it terribly wrong and got an E D:,"

I am currently finishing off my courses in transitions at South Downs College, in doing Archaeology and Classical Civilations (yeah, I am a old time nerd haha!). I was doing Biology but despite doing everything right and understanding everything...it wasnt showing in the exams and I dropped it to concentrate on other things :D

I have been visiting my boyfriend, as you probably guessed :P, and the past three weeks were brilliant. On the 9th I am going back to see him again for a week, then going to Selsey with my friends!! Wheeee such a busy July, I hope to update a bit more!!

College Fashion!

hile I'm cooling down from my lovely hot bath I thought I'd best do a blog post!! From today till next Sunday I am going to dedicate a week of blogging to FASHION WHOOOOOOO *dances*

So to start off with, I am going to do this blog that I wanted since Thursday but have been too lazy to do (Bad Kitty, BAD). When I went into college on Thursday I took my camera to get some pictures of fashions of what people I know at college wear since there is so many different styles flowing around college I wanted to document it!!

First off lets start with me since its my blog HAHA *cough*

Here you can see my retarded weird arse style that I like to have!! I don't tend to follow fashion trend too much, just in Spring (March-May) I like to rock brights and florals!! The hat my friend bought off ebay for me, the white blouse with black flowers I bought in a sale at Quality Seconds, the pink Hello Kitty top is from H&M (waaaay old) the navy skirt is from Lime, black leggings from New Look, purple waterfall cardigan from Select and pink shoes from Peacocks. As you can see I am a cheap-skate YAY.

Here you can see the hat more closely and also my make up for that day which was pink to match the hat, top and shoes. Pink day!!

Here is my lovely best friend Lizzie in her Peacocks blue top, black H&M top underneath and Peacocks trousers. Lizzie often wears pretty girly comfy clothes, a lot of her things from Peacocks. I do like her style sometimes! I don't remember where her shoes are from but her necklace is from a shop called Southsea Rock in Portsmouth! Here is a close up of her necklace;

Next up we have my friend Jamie, showing off one of the ways boys dress in our college;

He usually just wears a t-shirt and jeans and a hoody over the top of it. Its a shame he wasn't wearing his bright orange trainers today though, they are coooool!
Here we have Yaz, my very kooky friend who is nearly as kooky as me! Sorry for the swears if you notice, she did that just as I took it >_> ;

She is wearing the same hat as me but in black, she is the one who got it for me, and the same white blouse as I am wearing, with a long black skirt and a long white peticoat. She usually wears quite cool outfits that are a bit out there!
Here is Liz, who usually wears laid back outfits, usually dresses like this with a nice belt;

She wouldn't keep still so I had to lean over the table to get her haha!!
Here we have two friends, Lauren and Moody (his nick name). Lauren has quite a preppy way of dressing, and she has these lovely scarves she always wears that look like they are from India or something! Unfortunately I didn't get it in this picture, but here they are, Moody rocking the indy rock look;

Sarah didn't want her picture taken so she let me photograph her cute bag and owl necklace instead;


She was rocking the naval them as you can slightly tell from the stripey top and she was wearing a navy blue blazer over it!!
