Kitty's Sunny Weekend + GLASS IN MA HAND

Hello my lovelies!! I am blogging today about my weekend! I thought, since I try and fill my days up, that maybe they are worth blogging about these days!

SATURDAY

On Saturday, I had arranged to have lunch with my friend down Commercial Road, Portsmouth. Unfortunately, I didn't take many pictures apart from my out fit haha! We had a look round the shops, she bought a dress, I bought a ring, and we sat and had lunch in Tesco's Cafe, which was nommy! Their cake was nice! In the evening me and another friend went to a LUSH VIP party, which was lovely! I love LUSH and the smell of their shop! It may be a tad expensive, but I think its worth it! Plus, some of their stuff is under £5!!
Unfortunately I had a little accident in the shop. I had a wine glass in one hand (from the complimentary drinks) and had some heels on. My heel caught a wet patch and WHOOSH, over I went, glass smashed, alcohol straight in my face! My eyes stung, that was the first thing I felt! Once I had been helped to a seat, my knee started hurting and I now have a lovely bruise! I was asked if I was cut any where, and at first I was like, I don't think so....then I check my right hand!
Looks worse than it is, they were only small cuts on my hand where the glass had cut it! There was a little bit of glass in there, which the first aider managed to remove and then put some plasters on!
The top one was the worse one, as it looked like the glass had sliced into my hand at an angle! None of them needed stitches, so all was well! And for falling over, the staff gave me (and my friend) some freebies! I felt a bit guilty, so I was very thankful for the free box and the couple of extra goodies I got!
I got a free cotton bag and everything! My dad said, next time, break an arm and see what you get! Thanks dad >_>

SUNDAY

On Sunday I started off the day with a lovely long LUSH bath and came out smelling LOVELY!! My dads living smelt of LUSH all weekend because that's where all my products were! Now my room smells like it ahaha! Anyways, after that lovely bath, I got ready and met up with a friend in Gunwharf. We then proceeded to spend the next hour walking along the sea front to South Parade Pier!! It was sooo warm, but there was a lovely breeze coming off the sea, so it wasn't too melting. The only problem was the fact it was so crowded! Sunny Sunday in Portsmouth? Lets all go down the seafront! I swear, the entire population of Portsmouth was down there! It is a lovely scenic route though, with an old battlement, a fun fair and various other attractions.
Right near South Parade Pier, me and my friend found this lovely little garden, almost like a secret garden, and sat down to appreciate the scenery and eat some lunch!
This was what drew me in at first. I was like, 'Oohhh whats that? Looks like a fountain!' We followed the circular pathway round the fountain and pond, to find a mini waterfall and some steps leading down wards
Following the path down, we found a smaller pond and a garden filled with dragon flies and butterflies. There were a couple of people around, but it was pretty quiet, considering how close it was to all the crowds.
That was quite a small dragonfly, there were bigger ones flying around!!
On a little walk through, past a marina, there is this floating rotten platform. Its been there a while, and so have the pair of swans that are often on it. I think they must of been there for about 4-5 years, and I was glad to see both of them there, since last time there was only one! And swans mate for life, so I got sad, thinking the other one was dead! But they are both alive, yay! I couldn't get a very good picture in the sunlight, but the two white blobs are the swans:
There was a small event called 'Art on the Pier' going on at South Parade Pier, which is what me and my friend wanted to go too, so we had a look round the 15 artists tables and then had a chat with one of the artist my friend knew.
After that, I went home and painted my nails then had a lovely roast dinner! It doesn't matter how hot it will be, I love my roasts!! Me and my dad had it with some lovely smoked salmon, which was delicious with gravy!
In the evening we went to the post office club quiz, which we proceeded to lose, though we did win the Bonus round!
It was a pretty good weekend all round! Got out and about and had a fun time!
What did you guys get up to this weekend just passed?

STAY BEAUTIFUL

Bank Holiday Mondays arn't real Mondays!

Why helloooo
I always like to start the post off with an attractive picture ;D Courtesy of the boyfie!! Now Monday was Bank Holiday in England so people take the day off work. Boyfie has the week off work, so it didn't really matter but it still felt like a Bank Holiday!! Since the clouds cleared up a bit we decided on another bike ride, this time, to the Garden Centre again!! We went with our friend this time, on his BMX, we were like an awesome bike gang yo (not)
Since it was bike time I thought I best wear something suitable for biking, so jeans it was!
Dress from Select, Cardy from Select, Jeans from Dorothy Perkins
Before we went for our lovely bike ride, we went to our friends house, Dave, who I kinda like sometimes but he talks too loud and swears a lot which annoys me sometimes. But he made us a real nice dinner of veggies, stuffing and a massive mound of mash potatoes, but I didn't really eat a lot of the mash as I was so full! I can only eat small amounts at a time (probably why I snack rather than eat proper meals) and the veg and stuffing was enough for me!! He also had homemade bread which was delicious, I had one slice at his with some sea food mix spread on it, lovely!! He gave us half to take home so I popped that in my bag for later, he also gave me a can of soup haha!!
After a couple of hours playing COD4, Wii Beach Resort Sports and Wario Ware on the Wii, we decided it was nice enough to risk a bike ride!! Dave came with us as we went to drop off the food and pick up our bikes and then we were off!!
I'M IN A FIELD!!
It was windy!!
Boys being boys, they found something to do half way through the bike ride, and this involved seeing if they could jump over a ditch to the side of the track!!
Bunny Boy Dave
The Elegant Boyfie Flail
They only jumped across it and back again so we didn't spend too long there, then we carried on up the road (about three miles there) till we got to the garden centre, When we first got in, the staff were giving us looks and watching us as if we were going to steal something so I just got fed up with it and stared back. When ever I looked round there was always at least one person hanging around near us. We arn't even kids, we are 22, 23 and 27 respectively!! Bloody mistrusting staff, made me angry and feel bad about myself!!
Ah well, I only took one picture while we were there and that was messing with my Macro:
Pretty white flower
I love delicate flowers like that, coming off nice leaved plants, I want some for my room!!
After we bought plants, we went next door to the pet store, which I love going in to see all the animals!! They had little turtles!
Awwws teeny tiny turtles!
And there were gerbils!
Gold and silver Gerbils!
And there were piles of hamsters!!
Literally!! Sleepy little critters!
And one little Robo hamster which I want to keep and name Squishy and he shall be my Squishy haha
He fell asleep during the Hokey Kokey, you put your right foot in...zzzzzz
And massive Giant Rabbits!

Giant Rabbit and normal sized rabbit!

Since it was like 6 by then and the place was closing we decided it would probably be a good time to go home!! So off we road, the entire 3 miles back again!! Now I have only been riding properly again for a week and a bit now and I was chuffed I didn't need to stop for a rest this time even though my knees were complaining!!
I adore the plants my boyfie bought to look after for me, they are so pretty!! Now I have Miss Lilac:
Miss Lilac (I dont know their real names) Red leaves with green edging and purple and white flowers!
Pinky:
Pinky ~ Pink leaves with green accents
And Butterfree (Pokemon ref for you ;D )
I think her leaves look like moths or butterflys relaxing!! This plant closes up at night
Butterfree at night, with her leaves shut and she sparkles in the evening sun!
For the rest of the night we tidied up, checked our plants were healthy and then played a bit of Deus Ex!! The boyfie bought a fern and a big leaved plant but I am yet to take pictures of that!

OH YEAH, I will end this post with a picture of British Wildlife at its finest. A kestrel!!
As took by the boyfie, as spotted by Dave, as cooed at by me!
How did you spend your Bank Holiday if you had one?

Weekends are for bike rides

Saturday
Saturday we didn't really do much as there was no gas, so I sat around in my PJs and we did stuff on the laptops and computer and boyfie built a coffee table! Had a real late bath and then sat down and he scared me silly with Doom 3 and then we played Deus Ex!!

Sunday

On Sunday, it was a nice sunny day, so boyfie turned to me and said, do you want to go for a bike ride. Now you might remember that I can't ride a bike and he was trying to teach me last week, but I was still falling off a bit. Now yesterday,  I got on the bike while he was tidying up a bit before we go out and rode a little round the garden, managing not to fall off and to take a corner I kept crashing into!! With a little bit of confidence, I took the bike out onto the square and practised there and the first go, I managed to ride round the little square!! I had a big grin on my face and was so happy, I could ride a bike again!! So we proceeded to go for a bike ride...a six mile bike ride to the garden centre and back. Boy what a way to reintroduce yourself back into biking!! My knees were aching and my butt is so sore today!! But it was worth it and I want to go bike riding everyday (not six miles though!) At the Garden Centre we picked up a drink and a slice of cake then went looking for plants. I picked out one and my boyfie got two more, to put in his room! When we were cycling back, my legs were starting to go a bit like jelly so I had to walk for a bit, but it was so much fun riding a bike again! And a lot of exercise haha! Didn't take my camera with me but took some pictures when I got home of the plants and also the sky outside, which has been only a little bit cloudy when we were cycling, but had clouded over after we got back.

I picked the one in the pink/purple pot he is going to look after it for me! He picked the red potted one
This is the other one he picked and the spikey one in the background, he bought ages ago!
When I was a kid I used to think these beams of light were to let the souls of something dead into heaven or to let angels come down to earth!
ALIEN LASER BEAMS RUN FOR YOUR LIFE (or just a negative picture hur hur hur)
Sunday night we just ate our dinner of salmon topped with chilli and corriander with mixed veg and smiley faces and played Deus Ex!!
