Thursdays are for thinkings

Well, on Thursday, the electricity went out quite early in the morning!! (around half ten which is early for this house hold as no one gets up till at least 11 apart from me who is up at 9:15) But before the electricity even had a chance to go off, the internet on my boyfriends PC wasn't working, so I didn't really get to go on the internet as much as I wanted!! Obviously I managed a quick ten minutes to do two quick blogs for you ladies :D

But today all is well and I am managing to do my blog in its alloted time of between 930-10am. I will talk more about my schedual in Fridays post!!

So what happens when you don't have any electricity? You cry and scream? Nope, you find something else to do!! (Admittedly for a bit it was steal my boyfies little sisters dongle and check my messages but enough of that...) I spent the day with boyfies little sister, in his room, chatting and getting up to mischief!

Now, like I am sure other people do, I keep EVERYTHING charged to the max when I am not using it. I turn the plugs off once its fully charged then if its used, it gets charged again. Probably bad for the battery, but good for me when there is nothing else to do apart from go on a laptop, lend your DS to a bored child and listen to music on your psp with portable chargable speakers! Electricity, pfft, who needs it!! (I DO PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME) But I am pretty much sorted for a day without it, I even have candles and things.
Now, no electricity meant no oven. While there are other things I can eat, boyfies sister provides better things (in my opinion ;) )

YAY FOR SWEETS. Sugary goodness to keep me going. I am so bad, I need to cut my bad habits, but there was lollies and fizzers and the cola sweeties, everything you used to eat in your childhood! Was like being a kid again!! To the left you can see the picture she drew for my competition, which is something we were both doing, cept I was drawing part of my chibi series. Which I didn't take a photo of because they are only sketches right now!!
I did, however, take a picture of my 'work area' (LOL work)

I adapted and changed the mouse from the PC to the laptop. And then went on dA!

Now, about 3 in the afternoon, the electricity was revived and everyone rejoyed. And not much changed apart from boyfies little brother (hes twelve and hes taller than me...) taking the wii from downstairs to his room so he could play games while there still was time to play games (ie before some sport came on he wanted to watch. I think its tennis at the moment)

Yeah, he is a Liverpool supported, pfft (Chelsea here plz)

Boyfies little sister stayed in the room and went on facebook and finished her picture and I continued to draw and just changed the laptops internet from the dongle to the wireless. So as I said, not much changed! We had got happy in our none electricity habits!!
Of course I managed to get a bath before the electricity ran out (well, I had the hot water on) and got dressed and make uped.

It was quite warm in the room so I didn't really need a cardy all day, which was good!! But the weather was still grim and wet, just like today, but its muggy!! Need to think of what to wear today, least I have an umbrella!

Well thats enough about rambling on about my Thursday, need to go put the hot water on, check the post for my results (AHHHH) and check my other websites!! Ta ta for now!

Wednesday's post

On laptop, since electricity has gone out and no one has money to top it up!! But the keyboard on this laptop the caps is stuck down and I am only writing like this by holding down the shift key which I cannot be bothered to do for a entire blog post!! So you get my Wednesday in pictures instead :P (I totally didn't copy and paste this btw.... 8D )

Tuesday Post!!

Mondays Are Boring

RED EEYYE (and you can see my freckles pfft)

Helloooo!! Mondays are always boring to me. Its like the start of the week and even on holiday they seem a bit of a urrrg do I have to start the week kinda thing!! Probably cause I get up at half nine during the week...:P But I am trying to get back into my routine as well of doing exercise and not staying on the internet all day ect. And trying to do a daily blog!! While I am on holiday at my boyfriends, blogs will go: the blog of the day ---> the morning of the next day. Geddit? So I'm doing Mondays blog post, Tuesday morning! Ahem.

Monday was boring, as I said. All I did was sit on the computer and be a bum. Tomorrow though is exercise day and I WILL do it. Tuesdays I don't exercise. But Monday's are MEANT to be, but I got lazy. BAD KITTY.

I did hear some people strimming outside though and peered through the window too see a big yellow Hull City Council van.

And a red man!

Now my boyfriend works for HCC so I was peering through to check if it was his van but it wasn't :( Booo. He had to do road sweeping all day Monday how boring D: (and made him smelly)
He did get a parcel, however, while he was at work. His brand new SSD!! SSD's go in your PC and stand for Solid State Drive, meaning, unlike your normal hard drives, an SSD doesn't have moving parts so is less likely to break and is a lot faster!! Now I am into all this computery stuff, but it was boring watching him install it and fiddle around with his PC for two hours in the end

But he did it in the end and now his PC is super fast and loads programs real fast which is good for me :D Cause I use it during the day while he is at work! And its a lot quieter. The HDD he replaced was very loud and making horrible noises. He did take a while installing everything back on his PC then he finally made us dinner of Mushroom Stir Fry with rice noodles, sweet chilli and garlic sauce and some Quorn steak strips! Nom nom nom.

While he was at work though I did a quick paint jobby of my nails cause I was bored!! Going to do them properly today if I have time...

Rimmels I <3 Lasting Finish in Sunshine

It kinda went with my colourful top I was wearing (there are yellow bits, I swear)

Cardigan - Select, Dress (cant remember), cut off denim shorts I cut myself and blue wooly tights.

We didn't go out anywhere so I didn't wear shoes but I did take a picture of my second newest shoes I bought in the New Look sale before I came up:

They are so pretty but they get dirty so quick I have to keep rubbing them down with a damp towel!! Poor shoesies.

During the day, his mum DID give me a new makeup bag which matched the one she gave me yesterday as her friend were giving them away at like 50p (or free for swapsies for something she needed). Now, since I only come to Hull by train I only have one suitcase so can't bring ALL my make up with me. So I DID have one make up bag when I came up. Now I have three and its a lot better!!

My poor silver bag was filled to the brim and the zip puller came off so it was even harder to zip up!! Thank god for these two gold and silver ones, so pretty and spacious!! I've now seperated my make up between the three!! The two gold ones hold what was originally  in the silver one:

With my silver bag, I can still do it up just as long as I don't pack it full, so I put my make up palettes I bought with me in there:

Only one palette didn't fit in there so it sits under this bag on the set of drawers :D I am very organised now and it makes me happy! I might make a youtube video on my make up today, if I have time and will link it in tomorrows blog!!

Weekend Weddings (and other things!)

Nerrrr :P

Hi guys!! Hows it been!! I hope you are all doing well!! I haven't been up to much, finished college and just been bumming around between Hull and Portsmouth!! At the moment I am in Hull, for about a month before college restarts!! I get my results this week I hope to GOD I haven't failed too badly!! I am so scared!!

But anyways, enough of my boring life and onto something we all love (even if we don't believe in them!):
WEDDINGS

At the weekend, me and the boyfie went to his Aunties wedding! Even though the weather was predicted rain, the sun shone for us and it was lovely and warm!! I went out shopping the day before to see if I could pick up a last minute outfit (I had one planned but any excuse to buy new things!) and Primani became my new heaven (while in Hull, Yumi is still my favourite down south shop, more on that later ;) ) They have such lovely girly things there at the moment!! Some of it is quite seethrough, to the disgust of the boyfie who said it looks like nighties and looks too slutty to wear in day time (god I love him, bless!). I managed to scoop myself a new dress in pale blue with a lacy flower pattern all over, some pretty bows and a lovely pair of nude pink shoes, which cost alltogether less than £30!!

 All the outfits at the wedding were lovely and a lot of the women had gorgeous shoes!! (Man I LOVE shoes right now, I am already thinking about winter shoe boots!!)
We started off the day in a hurried panic. Well, I didn't, I got up at half 8, had my breakfast, scowled at my boyfriend for getting in the shower before me and taking so long and then getting ready by about 10:15 with fifteen minutes to spare before the taxi arrived!! I organise the night before, set all the stuff out neatly so its ready for the next day! His mam and sister, how ever, had to go to the hair dressers on the day to get their hair done and by the time they got home, his mam realised that she had holes in her tights and didn't have time to buy some new ones! Luckily she had a pair of leggings to go with the dress she wore, so all was well by the time we got  in the taxi's!
After a hurried dash through town to the registry office, realising we weren't late, we relaxed and chatted before everyone was herded into a very small waiting room where we tried not to step on each others toes!!

Here comes the bride!

 The bride looked stunning in a lovely floor length black dress, all floaty and pretty!! More pictures you will see later! The ceremony was sweet, but I couldn't help myself when I let out a tiny quiet giggle at the registra. He has this weird soft quiet voice that made me want to giggle so much!! But the bride and groom looked very happy!

The groom had tears in his eyes and you could tell by his voice how over whelmed with emotion he was!

 After the standing up ceremony, we had the signing of the book (we were in a Registry Office incase I didn't mention that earlier!) and many a photo were taken!!

After much photo taking, we spilled out into the street and just up the road to a small park where many a more picture were taken!! I do love a good photo sesh and taking them in the middle of a green park with the warm sun shining down on you is just perfect!!

I loved what both girls were wearing but I feel the one in the white dress was too skinny and it showed in that dress, you need boobs for it. But her shoes were so lovely and from New Look!! The blue dress, I want, I believe I was told it was from Oli.com! It was £30 and here is the link for it: Pretty Maxi Dress!

There was of course the tradition family shots!!

My boyfriend is the very very tall one. His older sister is in the nude dress (£65 from Next catalogue), little brother in the suit and blue tie and his youngest sister in the pink dress. His mum is in the grey dress on the far left!

I was just there to take photos I didn't want to be in any of the shots as I wasn't family!! After the main bridal party shots, we milled around waiting for taxis to take us to the reception at a small pub in Queens street called RUSCADOR'S, used to be The Heritage pub! Heres a few more shots from the gardens:

Once we were at the pub, we all found somewhere to sit and chatted with each other, waiting for the best man speech (awwww he was nearly crying!) where he made a joke right at the begining. "They say the best man speech is usually as long as the love making as the bride and groom....so please raise your glasses!" and he also said another, "I best stop now as my jokes are so bad even the cake is in tiers!". I laughed a lot at that one, I shall remember that!! The spread was lovely, none of the posh fancy food which you don't know whats what and are very scared to try, but lovely normal foods like prawns, mussels, quiches, sandwiches, crisps. I love buffets :D I ate mostly prawns, crab sticks and mussels, and also those little poofy pastries with toppings on top. They had two cakes, one sponge one for us people who don't like fruit cake, and the pretty wedding cake was all fruit cake!

After we had our fill, more photos were taken on the little raised bit which I supposed was normaly for inhouse bands!

And finally, at half 4 in the afternoon, our little troupe decided it was time to leave!! So with slightly aching feet and full bellies, we walked back into the main area of town and caught a bus (glamorous!) home and relaxed. I didn't personally get changed, as I was comfy  in my clothes, but boyfie and his sisters did and then his older sister came round to look at the photos and upload onto facebook (of which I did the same after she left!). The day was long but it was full of love and happiness (and cake) and I had a good time!!

Sunday was just a normal Sunday for me, relaxing in the bath for about an hour (to which my boyfie said when I got out "how long do you need your bath!") where I scrubbed, shaved and bubbled my way to relaxation then  threw on a comfy outfit of black leggings and a shirt dress. We spent the day tidying and messing around with bikes (as in cycles). Boyfie was teaching me how to ride a bike again, as I hadn't since I was 12 due to operations on my hips, but my gosh do I have a sore bum today!! We had a lovely spagbol for dinner and an early night as boyfie has to get up at half 6 in the morning for work!!

But since its now 12:38pm I had best leave this blog post for now and get on with my Monday!! I have things to do today and spent all morning on the internet already!! Hope you ladies (and gentlemen) have a nice day!
